And Another!

Good Afternoon!

I did warn you I had a lot of Some Odd Girl stamps to use lol.

Here is a card I finished yesterday. I used Curly Kaylee. She's so cute.
I colored her with my Copics and most of the embellishments are from my Cameo. I also used Frantage - I love that stuff!
I had to force myself to do a card in something other than purple. It wasn't easy for me :).

That's all for today. Have a great weekend and Happy Crafting!

Another SOG Fairy!

Hello Everyone.
It's been busy, busy around here lately. Lots of appointments with my son. He is going in for his first surgery in a couple weeks - Tonsillectomy. I think I am more nervous that he is!

Today I have another Some Odd Girl card. I kind of fell in love with these digis pretty quick, so I think it's safe to say that's what you will be seeing for a little awhile :).
Here it is

I just love the their big eyes!
Everything was cut with my Cameo and she is colored in Copics - more purple, of course! I put some stickles on her wings. I just have to put some sparkle in there somewhere, don't you?

That's it for today. Until next time -
Happy card making :)

A Gift For a Friend

Good Morning Crafty Ladies!

I just wanted to share a card I made for a new, dear friend who lives all the way over in England!

I used Summer Wedding Tilda from Magnolia, colored with Copics. I also used my favorite Spellbinder die called Floral Ovals. I added flowers from WOC. I handmade the rosebuds in the bag, which I sent as a gift for my friend. But I didn't put any on my card, because I wanted to make sure she had 3 of each color!

Well that's all for now. I will be back soon with another card :)

Some Odd Girl

Hello!

I finally spent almost the entire day in my craft room. It felt good to be in there again since I have been running around all week with appointments for my kids and so on.
I did a bit of organizing, printing and cutting digis with my Cameo, and I even got one whole card finished lol!
I decided to make a SOG card. In purple, of course. I really need to make myself do some other colors but those purples just call to me!

Here is my finished card
I used Butterfly Friend Fairy. I absolutely love fairies. And Butterflies! I cut the card base and leaves   with my Cameo. The flowers are from WOC. The easel is also from my Cameo.

Here's a close up of this gorgeous Fairy:
I love the flowing hair and big eyes on these girls.

I thought  would show the inside this time:
I usually put some type of Spellbinders label inside my cards. Sometimes I like to leave them blank so I can write in them later.

That's all for now. I hope everyone is having a great day.
Happy Crafting!

Silhouette Cameo! And a card

Good Morning!
I know I have been gone awhile. I have had a lot going on at home. Nothing bad, just busy.
Part of why I have been busy is because I bought a new toy and I have been wrapped up in playing with it lol.

The Silhouette Cameo!

I spent hours - no, days - playing with this machine. I know I haven't even scratched the surface on what it can do. My birthday is in a couple weeks, so I have asked my hubby to buy me a drawing tablet for my computer. If I ever get the hang of that, I plan to draw my own designs for this. It's all very exciting!

Here is the first card I made with the help of my Cameo. I used Summer Kaylee from SOG. These digis are a new found love for me. I ordered one. Then I ordered 4 more. Then 4 more lol. I love their eyes and sassy poses. It makes me think of my girls.

I made this for my best friend's birthday. She loves all things pink!

I very recently got my sister into card making. She got hooked very quickly lol. But she is not fond of coloring. So I offered to color up some girls for her to use on her cards since I love to color and can spend hours at a time doing it.

Now I am off to start some coloring!
Have a great day and happy crafting!
